Founded in 1981 by leading French IP firms, Acumass was born from a collective vision: pool expertise and reduce costs to better protect industrial property rights across the world.
An organisation born from cooperation
Acumass was created in 1981 by several of the leading French industrial property firms, with the aim of reducing the cost of annuities through volume effects and the implementation of an efficient collective organisation.
After a decade of successful operations in France, Acumass expanded across Europe with a primarily European client base. In 2010, we opened an office in Beijing, followed by Stockholm and Silicon Valley, to ensure a truly global presence.
Today, Acumass manages very large volumes of industrial property rights and handles annuity and renewal payments on behalf of its clients around the world. Our mission has not changed: put in place the solution that best fits each client.
